We believe in a better world for everyone!
A world where people can be friends regardless of their origin or culture, religious or political beliefs, wealth or education.
In the end, we all share the dream of a better life and as long as our intentions are peaceful, nothing should stay in our way.
Unfortunately history hasn’t been a good fellow for each nation or family and nowadays we are facing a very polarized society with huge differences between the poor and the rich, the lucky ones and those convicted to a hard life.
Fortunately our society has evolved to a point where most of us have understood that we can achieve our goals without harming the others – this we believe is the correct direction to be followed by our nations.
Isbasoiu Foundation is doing its best in supporting any organization, company or simple citizens worldwide in achieving their goals of creating a better world.
I decided to build this foundation in honour of my family, which after a prosperous period until the second World War, has seen all its belongings stolen by the communist regime that took over the country by forcing the ruling Royal House to give up the power.
I am a young professional from Romania – Europe, with interests in the telecommunication and IT industry. Also I currently serve as an active member of Rotary Club Bucharest, a club affiliated to Rotary International and as a fellow of Aspen Institute Romania. During the 2010 – 2011 Rotarian year I served as President of Rotaract Club Bucharest.
"I truly believe that our society can evolve only by building for the future, without forgetting the past."
In April 2011, Isbasoiu Foundation has helped the organization of the annual Rotary Club Bucharest Charity Ball. The main objective of this event was to support the building of a secondary elevator in one of the most important hospitals in Bucharest.
Isbasoiu Foundation has contributed to the Romanian expedition to Cho Oyu, the sixth highest mountain in the world at 8,201 meters (26,906 ft). One of the team members is Mr. Adrian Fako, who at 23 years will be the youngest Romanian ever to attempt a peak of over 8,000 meters without supplemental oxygen and without Sherpa. The other member of the team – Tiberiu Pintilie is a well-known climber and environmental enthusiast.
World Wide Live Feedback is the first real-time feedback application available worldwide. Isbasoiu Foundation is doing its best in supporting the growth of this service, as livefeedback.org has a strong social involvement: using this service any non-profit organization in the world is able to receive feedback for free from any of their supporters.
In 2016 we were honoured to support the organization of a music contest dedicated to young student who played the instruments: piano, violin, serious strings, wood blowers and percussion. The contest was organized in honour of the great violinist Yehudi Menuhin.
